As you can see, there was a special addition to this special edition. The UFC headlined a card with Anthony Smith and got absolutely rekt. Wrestling is still king of combat sports. It’s really irritating to see UFC get all of this publicity for leading the way to the reemergence of sports when pro wrestling has been doing it non stop. WWE and AEW are only the two biggest wrestling companies doing great work during the pandemic, there others and we salute them as well. ESPN should be the ones saluting them though. Someone on Twitter said they didn’t know why more people aren’t watching AEW, I know why, it’s because AEW isn’t trying to attract new fans. AEW wants the hardest of the hardcore, those are the ones that sustain them.

Honorable mentions

1. The “this is awesome” chants on Dynamite were the epitome of what everyone is talking about when it comes to AEW. It’s that sort of self celebratory/masturbatory crap that turns people off.

I think this war will actually pick up when live fans return and we will see good head to head battles.
