Drew Gulak vs Daniel Bryan
Incredible story told here and in the weeks leading up to this match, this is exactly how you build up your talent. Looking forward to a Wrestlemania rematch of epic proportions.
Humberto vs Andrade [c]
Andrade retains in a cool match, I hope these two move on from each other somehow, I kinda want Humberto to turn heel and tag with Andrade just so he can go against Rey Mysterio.
Tag Team Elimination Chamber
The New Day vs Lucha House Party vs The Usos vs Heavy Machinery vs Roode & Ziggler vs The Miz & John Morrison [c]
This was pretty cool, Lucha House Party really looked big, made a real name for themselves hopefully they wrestle the champs again because a Wrestlemania match with Morrison and some luchadores sounds like a ton of fun. Miz & Morrison retained in one hell of a match.
AJ Styles vs Aleister Black
We all knew the Undertaker was coming out and we knew the OC would get involved but we didn’t know just how good the match would be and it was pretty good. This match didn’t need the Undertaker but it got the Undertaker anyway, the crowd went crazy but not quite as crazy as I thought they would.
Raw Tag Team title match
Street Profits came out hot and stayed that way to retain their titles. Murphy and Seth put up a good fight and even looked like they could recapture the title but KO showed up to make sure that didn’t happen.
3 on 1 handicap match
What a way for Sami Zayn to capture his first title on the main roster. I wish things could have been different but at least Sami has a midcard title. Sami has been long overdue now what’s going to happen with Braun, hopefully Braun moves on to the Fiend after Mania and feud until SummerSlam I like Cesaro as a Babyface but he is stuck in a faction that just seems slapped together, maybe he breaks away from them and feuds with them.
Women’s Elimination Chamber
Shayna Baszler vs Asuka vs Ruby Riott vs Liv Morgan vs Natalya vs Sarah Logan
Other than the long stretches of time between eliminations this match was good. Shayna looked strong, dominated the competition and told a good story. Asuka is injured and did one hell of a job with that injury, it was used as a reason why she lost and I like that, it sets up Asuka vs Shayna down the road. Shayna Baszler is the only hope Raw has at keeping Becky relevant, public perception is starting to turn on Becky more and more, nothing too strong at the moment but if the build to mania is weak then keep an eye on the fan reactions.
Final take
Some fine wrestling on this show, the finish fell super flat but i won’t knock the rest of the show because of it. The show could have benefited from fewer matches, the show length was fine but some matches were just unnecessary. Some haters out there didn’t give the show a fair chance, don’t listen to them, this was a very good show.
