Bayley vs Bianca Belair[c]

The Harlem Heat gear was great from Bianca. When Bianca gets in the ring to wrese it is always worth it. A banger of a match! Bianca is proving that she can literally hang with the very best of the women’s division. Bayley needs to do more with Seth and stay out of action for a while. I would like to see her move over to Raw and feud with Rhea Ripley, Nikki Cross again or even better, feud with Piper Niven. Maybe team up with Charlotte.

Seth vs Cesaro

Not sure why this feud needs to continue but Seth steals one. Great story and match but again where does Cesaro go from here? I’m thinking they booked themselves into a corner. Cesaro isn’t going to dethrone Roman unless he gets money in the bank, perhaps that is whats next for him.

Shayna vs Alexa

The match was cool,, definitely not bad, too much hocus pocus for my taste though. Alexa wins, not a good look for Shayna unless she is going to come out of this feud evil. Shayna can endure the bad booking but how much longer do we have to?

Alexa uses her powers again, this time on Shayna and Nia

KO vs Sami

Another great story, Kevin Owens really is an asset, you can plug him in anywhere and he fits, best utility guy in the entire company. Sami Zayn wins, much needed win if he is going to win money in the bank as some are speculating. Not sure what KO does but he does need to stay relevant, you never know what may happen.

Rhea Ripley[c] vs Charlotte

Charlotte still looks sloppy around the edges. I wasn’t as high on her match at Wrestlemania last year as people like Jim Cornette. Charlotte simply isn’t what she was in NXT. Ripley is playing down to her competition and I don’t like it. With Piper Niven on Raw, the division is going to have proper matches very soon, hopefully Niven and Ripley set the tone with a groundbreaking feud later this year.

Drew McIntyre vs Bobby Lashley[c]

The chemistry these two have in the ring is great, two powerhouses that will stop at nothing to win. Glad McIntyre lost but he is still lingering around the title picture because that’s what he does. I hated the finish but the result was correct. Drew is overexposed and needs to move to SmackDown immediately…after a few months of a break.

Honorable mentions

  1. Mandy loses a match for no reason on the kickoff show.

  2. The PPV could have been even shorter.

Final take

An enjoyable show from beginning to end. The Thunderdome PPVs have been great. This one was no exception, straight and to the point. This may have been the shortest WWE PPV in decades.
