What a past week we had at Crown Jewel as we crowned a new Universal Champion, saw the return of HBK and Shane McMahon.
Raw kicks off with Corbin’s coronation of the beast with extra security. Corbin ran down the card for Survivor Series and was pretty good on the mic as usual. Braun, Drew and Dolph were named for the Raw men’s team and Alexa Bliss was named the leader of the Raw women’s team. Bliss seemed to fit in her roll as a heel authority figure pretty well. Bliss said she could get used to this and you know what? So can I!
Kurt Angle was a little tired of Baron Corbin’s dick swinging and came out to make a match between he and Corbin so that Angle could join team Raw. Braun’s music finally hit and the shittiest brawl I’ve seen broke out on stage. R.I.P. the security guard that got that boot to the chest though.
I don’t know what was going on with Charly Caruso’s make up but when she was backstage interviewing she look like Michael Jackson. Riot Squad vs Natty, Sasha and Bayley AGAIN! Although we are all tired of this match it can be good at times. The match was alright but went on too long and had a terrible; abrupt ending.
Apollo Crews beat Jinder Mahal in a nothing match. Pretty upset Jinder is jobbing to Apollo.
To cleanse our pallets, we got a promo from Seth, coming out draped in gold. That wouldn’t last long before Corbin made a match for the tag team titles against AoP. Seth made couple of runs, nearly ding the match t one point. AoP still had to cheat and play the numbers game to do it but they are your new Raw tag team champions.
Dolph and Elias sounds like a good fued to me; run that. Great way to elevate Elias in the ring. The match was too long for my taste but the crowd loves Elias. The time spent in the ring with Ziggler is worth a ton; Dolph is a grand slam champion so the Drifter scored a major victory beating him clean tonight.
Ronda Elotes Rousey, that’s her new nickname for me because Ronda is corny and cheesy;enough is enough for me. Nia Jax had some words for Ronda before Nia’s burial of Ember Moon. Moon is too popular, too hot right now so WWE has cool her off, slow her down; just like they did with Finn Balor.
Speaking of Balor, he faced Bobby Lashley for the 146994933 straight time aaaaand Finn has been buried deeper. The match was actually good, if Finn was allowed to do his thing then it would have been great. To add insult to injury, Drew McIntyre made his way to the ring and Claymore’d Balor.
Because Baron Corbin is a wanted man by the monster among men, Drew McIntyre took his place in the main event against Kurt Angle.
