MITB 2020 Predictions

The most unique MITB match ever…

I’ll say this, if someone is thrown off of the roof of WWE headquarters then it will be one of the greatest things to ever happen in pro wrestling.

MATCH CARD:

Men’s MITB

Daniel Bryan vs. Aleister Black vs. Rey Mysterio vs. King Corbin vs. vs. Otis vs. AJ Styles

I am picking Corbin or AJ Styles to win. I could see AJ winning but Corbin cashing in only to lose to a returning Roman Reigns seems like an easy way to get the title on Roman with the least amount of heat.

Women’s MITB

Shayna Baszler vs. Nia Jax vs. Asuka vs. Dana Brooke vs. Lacey Evans vs. Carmella

Shayna Baszler is everyone’s pick but I’m thinking Nia wins and takes the belt off of Beck, restarting their long and heated rivalry.

WWE Championship Match

Drew McIntyre [c] vs. Seth Rollins

Really hard to call with this match, Drew may face additional obstacles such as disciples. This may be a way to get the belt off of Drew so that live audiences can see him chase, something audiences and wrestlers were robbed of.

Universal Championship Match

Braun Strowman [c] vs. Bray Wyatt

I can see Corbin taking advantage of the moment and pinning Braun Strowman for the Universal title. Corbin reigning supreme while Roman is away would be great for both guys and Vince. Vince wants to push/elevate Corbin and then serve him up as a softball opponent for Roman Reigns to defeat upon his return.

SmackDown Women’s Championship Match

Bayley [c] vs. Tamina 

If Tamina wins she will be cashed in on at the very first opportunity the winner has. I don’t see Tamina being the new champ though.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way Match

The New Day vs. The Miz & John Morrison vs. The Forgotten Sons vs. Lucha House Party

While I’ll be rooting for Miz & Morrison and Lucha House Party, I already know Forgotten Sons are probably walking away with the titles. The whole reason New Day won the titles back was so the Forgotten Sons could win them from a reputable babyface tag team. I’m not impressed by any of this.
