Kushida vs Ciampa
Couldn’t wait till a Takeover I guess. Definitely a match that deserves attention on paper alone. Hard hitting and great match psychology.
Ciampa wins when the Dream interferes.
Ember Moon is eclipsed?
Ember is just as corny as ever… well maybe she is a little better but I’m still not impressed. Io Shirai answers Moon’s callout but Rhea has something to say about that however, Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez attack her from behind.
Ever Rise vs Drake and Killian
And just like that Drake Maverick is back to being a comedy act. Maybe that’s what he wants to do, who knows, at least its actually funny.
The entrance music for these guys is hilarious music. The match was fine but was Maverick powerbombed onto his opponent for the win, not your typical offense from a tag team. Killian knocks out Maverick again, this time he carries him to the back with him.
Austin Theory vs Leon Ruff
The two know each other from Evolve but Theory is the one that has evolved. Leon Ruff weighs about 20lbs max. Some innovative elusiveness from Ruff but it wasn’t enough to escape Theory
Theory cuts a promo after the match and is interrupted by an impromptu match from a returning Dexter Lumis. Lumis wins but Cameronto have the last laugh. Grimes attacks out of nowhere with the Cave-in
Danny Burch vs Ridge Holland
Fast and hard hitting affair. I really wanted to see more from Holland and I got to see his vicious assaults after the match. He has a good headbutt. Lorcan came out to save Burch and puts in some work on Ridge Holland. Then, Ridge Holland suffered a horrific leg injury during a dive from Oney Lorcan. Holland will be out indefinitely it seems.
Xia Li vs Shotzi
Xia starting to look more like a traditional wrestler as she transitions into being a heel. Shotzi is on a roll and picking up some good wins. Big Boa handed Xia a letter after the match, the matter seemed to be urgent.
Ember Moon & Rhea Ripley vs Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai
The Eclipse is still one of the coolest moves ever. Kai and Gonzalez looked good but Rhea took out Gonzalez so that Moon could get the win. Keep Moon out of the title picture with Kai and let her build to something. Kai probably needs to win the NXT title next and give the babyface a shot at it. That would build to a split and feud with Raquel Gonzalez.

Final take
Good show but I’m waiting for some other things to develop before I get 100% invested. Lots of things developing, I’m just along for the ride.
