Escobar[c] vs Devlin[c]
Unification match
Another fine match to start the evening. I thought Devlin would win and Legado would slowly breakup but this is NXT not “main roster”. Fantasma winning was the right choice, he is a great act that deserves to hold a title for as long as he is hot. Devlin is going to be NXT UK Champion within the next 2 years, he’ll probably beat Balor for it at a Takeover. Devlin did lose to Balor at the first UK Takeover.
The Way vs Moon[c] & Blackheart[c]
Spot heavy but executed decently enough. This was the weakest match on the card but that’s not a bad thing. This card was stacked from beginning to end. The Way need those titles specifically but the titles are too new to change right now.
Gargano[c] vs Reed
The Gargano Way continues to prevail. Bronson Reed looked like he was about to capture gold for the first time, a few times in the match. I don’t when you pull the trigger on Lumis or Reed to become champ because Gargano just doesn’t need it. Let someone else hold the title for a while. Anyone that was in the #1 contender’s match would make a fine champion besides Ruff who has already held the title.
Balor[c] vs Kross
Great match from Kross. Finn can drag a good match out of anybody. I’m glad Kross recaptured his title, I want Finn to finish his feud with Walter and dethrone him, becoming the only man to hold the top titles in NXT, NXT UK and Raw. Kross has no shortage of challengers, Bronson Reed may move up and challenge him right away.
Cole vs O’ Reilly
Everything we wanted and thought it would be except the absence of blood. I’m glad the match didn’t have blood because we have too much of that on AEW for random matches. The match did run too long, could have shaved 10 minutes from the show, easy. Kyle walks away the winner while Cole if left in the middle of the ring, good stuff. The only problem is when they go to the main roster this would have not existed.

Another Frankie Monet vignette. Fanboys will flood twitter with complaints about her name change.
Final take
Excellent show with excellent matches. Great title matches, great rivalries with fantastic conclusions. The Wednesday night wars are over. Let’s see what stupid shit the “dirt sheets” cook up for listeners/subscribers now.
