Drew McIntyre challenges Orton to an ambulance match. Adam Pearce informs McIntyre that if Keith Lee beats him and Orton can’t compete that Keith Lee would take Orton’s place. Drew and Keith exchange words a few times and even punches before the match backstage.

Champions vs Champions Street Profits win clean, big mistake if you ask me unless the booking is going to be 50/50 and the SmackDown champs get their win back. Right now, Cesaro and Shinsuke look like chumps instead of champs. The Street Profits are a very strong team, they can afford a rare loss.

Business is good Cedrick Alexander defeated Ricochet, Ricochet really put him over strong in the match in a way only Ricochet can. Cedrick can go pretty far if WWE let’s him but he can’t just rest on MVP amd Lashley, he needs to utilize Shelton Benjamin as well and make sure that he is really doing all he can to be noticed. I would have held off on the match for a while and let it build but there is actually still plenty of time to let it build.

Retribution speak out and Adam Pearce turns to the The hurt business for help, they are now special security for RAW.

Asuka [c] vs Mickie James Mickie told a great story but the story is, Mickie has clearly lost a step. The match was a mess at times. I don’t know what happened with Mickie or that ending, looks like the ref thought she tapped and called the match or maybe there was an injury. Either way that ref needs to be fired because he’s terrible.

Zelina Vega hasn’t even won a match, what is this shit? She isn’t credible at all. I have been wanting to see what Vega has in the ring but I don’t want to see it under these circumstances.

Steel cage match Seth vs Dominik Seth tells Buddy to stay backstage but he disobeys and Murphy hands Rollins a kendo stick while the Mysterio family looks on in horror. Murphy slams the gate in the face of Rollins by mistake but after 2 stomps Dominik takes another L. Rollins beats down Murphy after the match to try teaching him a lesson about listening.

Pick a fight with me Kevin Owens stuns Aleister Black on the lights flickering distraction, the same way MVP lost against Apollo and he took issue with it. I like the feud between Black and Owen’s as long as it is back and forth and not just Owens getting over on him each time. Sure Black knocked him out in RAW Underground but that’s a little different.

RAW Underground Braun Strowman makes a surprise visit to the Underground.

Dolph vs Moss The fight lasted quite a while and several restarts until Braun took them both out. Braun was killing a man when Underground returned from break, then he took out Titus O’ Neil. Underground ended with a faceoff between Dabo Kato and Barun Strowman but Shane told us we had to wait until next week to see that fight.

Riot Squad vs Lana & Natalya I just realized Lana is getting more TV time than champions in other companies. Shayna and Nia join commentary then they champs take out the losers while telling Liv and Ruby to watch.

Clash of the titans Keith Lee vs Drew McIntyre was good while it lasted, both men were just bursting with testosterone but the match was ended by Retribution. I’m really hoping Dijak is the leader of Retribution so that Keith Lee can look like a badass and get to revisit his feud with his close friend. The Hurt Business kept their word and confronted the board of Retribution.

Honorable mentions

Rotating guest commentators.

  1. Kit kat commercial with R Truth and Liv looked live and I had no idea what was going on but that’s good.

  2. Garza and Andrade fight in the back.

  3. Bobby Lashley vs Erik was a virtual squash for Lashley.

Final take “In your face” was very accurate, there was someone in someone  else’s face all night. Dolph was a natural on commentary, MVP was also a good fit. RAW was pretty exciting all the way through with barely any pause in the action. Keep up the good work, this was a homerun.
