Fight fight fight
Orton promo leads to Drew coming down to start a fight, a fight that would last throughout the show and move throughout the entire building.
No DQ
Aleister Black vs KO
Fantastic match. If anything, over too quickly. There were some great spots, will definitely watch that again. I am glad Black is going to SmackDown with KO and Zelima, things are going to get interesting because they put on a show!
Miz TV
Dana and Mandy join the former tag team champions for a sit down interview. The Miz is always an annoying heel to anyone opposite of him. Miz brings up tonight’s Battle Royale when they are interrupted by Natalya and Lana. They both get handled by the blonde bombers and it leads to a match later.
A really good show
Returning from commercial, Lars’ music hits and he attacks Miz & Morrison. Morrison is destroyed and the mega push of Lars Sullivan is off to a great start. It reminds me of what they did with Brock Lesnar and I’m on board with it to a degree.
Exchange market
Street Profits and New Day exchange their tag team titles. Roode-Dolph want a title shot and don’t care who they face. I wanted more interaction between New Day and Street Profits and kinda upset that I didn’t get it.
Triple threat …tag team?
Jeff Hardy vs Seth Rollins vs AJ Styles
Phenomenal match, Jeff Hardy has been on fire lately. Orton and Hardy have reignited a passion within themselves for this business and they are showing it in their work. AJ Style tries to steal the win then Elias made a surprise return by smashing the shit out of a guitar on the back of Jeff Hardy.
Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose vs Lana & Natalya
Rose is so underwhelming no matter what she does. Lana continues to look impressive, I would say she looks better than Mandy. Better footwork, mic skills and timing. Rose and Brooke win as expected and 40/50 booking feels like a thing of the past, it’s not like it was not so long ago.
Andrade vs Angel Garza
Garza wins clean over Andrade, Zelina
Absolute Goosebumps, the pop that would have gotten in front of a crowd would have been deafening.
Roode-Dolph vs New Day [c]
The match was exceptional as expected. New Day retain and now have no challengers. Let’s hope the New Day freshen up their act enough to become truly interesting again.
Ricochet vs Cedrick Alexander
Ricochet finally comes out on top after using the ole Eddie Guerrero trick to get Cedrick Alexander disqualified. Not a finite ending for this feud so expect to see it continue somehow someway at some time.
Dual brand Battle Royale
Natalya and Lacey Evans were the last women standing and they really work well together, Natalya is a pretty good in-ring trainer. It appears that Natalya wins when Lana knocks her off the apron, winning a shot at Asuka’s title.

Final take
An Allstar show that even seemed to be holding back a little bit. The WWE Championship was the main focus throughout the show and that is really what made the difference tonight. I’d say this show was a grand slam.
