Lacey Evans vs Charlotte [c]
I was hoping this would be great but it wasn’t, Charlotte had a chance to prove herself as a ring general however, she failed to impress. Ric sells out for the booty once again and I’m hoping that Ric Flair managing Lacey gets over like it should.
Jeff Hardy vs Ryker
Ryker pins Hardy in a twisted turn of events. Elias is claimed he was injured but still wrestled Jeff Hardy after being suckered into a match right after Ryker pinned Hardy. Jeff ends the losing streak in an odd way but at least its over. I expect to see someone come to Hardy’s aid next week so that this feud can continue for a while.
Sheamus & Keith Lee vs Miz & Morrison
Sheamus let Lee know that he respected him now because of the way he took Drew McIntyre to his limits. Lee and Shemaus are interrupted by Miz & Morrison, leading to a match that Miz and Morrison lost. Keith Lee wins got the clean afterwards, Sheamus is irate, demanding they settle thing in a match right then and there. Lee wins clean again and Sheamus gives him a big hug. Smart to start a friendship in case Drew is out for longer than expected. Things can always go south again.
TBar vs Xavier Woods
TBar wins clean, as he should have. New Day feuding with Retribution is a good move, maybe make New Day just a little bit more serious. Woods is going to get a singles push now that Kofi is injured but he can still get a partner to help him deal with Retribution.
Riddle vs Lashley [c]
Lucha House Party wishes Riddle good luck backstage, Lince Dorado is a natural on the kick and says very few words. Lashley makes Riddle tap, remaining US Champ. Riddle challenges MVP immediately following the match, the second time something like that happened this show. I’m guessing Matt Riddle will be United States Champion soon but where does Lashley go from there?
Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler vs Mandy Rose & Dana Brook
Why? Why did they lose and why do they even put Mandy and Dana on television if they aren’t going to take them seriously. One week they are beating former champs, the next, they are being destroyed by former champs. All four of these people need something to do but it ain’t wrestling each other every week.
The legend killer’s challenge
For the first time in a while, HHH kicked off Raw. When the game calls out Orton for all of the foul crap he has been doing lately, Orton challenges HHH to a fight. Later, Keith Lee offers to step in for the Game but Triple H insist he go alone. As things got underway, the lights flickered and the Alexa Bliss was behind it as expected. Long story short, if you play with fire you’ll get a fireball to the face.
Honorable mentions
Drew with a classy message to the WWE Universe about COVID-19 and accepts Goldberg’s challenge.
Styles beats Gulak
Final take
Raw started off rocky, I wasn’t sure I wanted to keep watching it but Keith Lee, Sheamus and video messages from the WWE Champion kept the show interesting. HHH never disappoints and the supporting cast did an amazing job.
