RAW Quick Takes 11/16/20

Drew drops another hot promo and Orton interrupts. Miz and Morrison do another great job of being absolutely annoying and it’s the same as last week.
6 woman tag alert
Lana, Shayna [c] & Nia [c] vs Mandy, Dana & Asuka
Lana was told not to tag herself in, she does anyway and loses the match. Lana gets put through the announce table for the 9 th straight time. That’s about the extent of this match and segment. Mandy needs so much work in the ring that NXT wouldn’t even be able to help her.
Team Raw vs Retribution
Team raw is dysfunctional but Styles has a plan to get them on the same page. AJ is doing his best Jericho impression, that’s not necessarily a great thing. Retribution won but it was tainted so was the run of the mill promo Ali gave before the match.
Miz vs Bray Wyatt
I hate Alexa in the Funhouse I don’t know why but I do think she’s doing a great job but is somehow underachieving. Her in ring skills need to be as good as her Funhouse performances. Bray Wyatt calls the Miz out in his typical Funhouse way.
Love Alexa’s remixed music, it’s simple yet so fresh. The Miz actually has some moments but Wyatt wins a good match. The Fiend appears on screen after the match.
Drew McIntyre vs Randy Orton [c]
Video package before the match, setting the mood for a classic; I had goosebumps. Drew came out with a kilt and sword, ready for battle with a great entrance. Picture in a picture, rarely used on Raw these days but necessary for this one. Drew reclaims his title, getting a standing ovation in the process.
Honorable mentions
Nikki Cross has nothing better to do, she could be in matches but she’d rather chase Alexa Bliss.
New Day retain against the Hurt Business.
Jeff Hardy and Elias still got beef.
Mia Yim destroys Dana Brooke.
Adam Pearce replaces Mandy and Dana on team Raw with Peyton Royce and Lacey Evans.
Angel Garza vignette.
Final take
Raw was really really good tonight, great promos and interviews, plenty going on, lots of stories. Great title matches, one an instant classic. Survivor Series now has a lot of hype to live up to.
