Drew has words for everyone. The Miz tries to get in Drew’s head then MVP informs Miz that his match is coming up very soon.

Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus

Brutal match; great way to start the show and set the tone. I was hoping they save this match for Wrestlemania but I’m not gonna complain about a great tv match.

Naomi vs Nia[c]

I understand why this match is happening but it could have actually been built up as something special for Naomi. Why beat Naomi and kill all her momentum? I don’t think she should be pushed but if that’s what you’re doing she doesn’t need any unnecessary losses.

Derailed

Braun is pissed, Shane and Pearce try to deal with Brauns frustrations. Braun is granted a title opportunity, a tag title opportunity. Shane names Pearce as Braun’s tag team partner. This was kind of a random match. The Hurt Business looked like jokes, this did nothing for anyone. Somehow Shane cost Braun the match and Adam Pearce is rolled up for a 3 count. This was all unnecessary.

Priest vs Elias

Sloppy at times, no chemistry between these two. They managed to pull off a decent match but I don’t wanna see this become a feud.

Charlotte vs Shayna[c]

Charlotte wants the title as always. Very ironic that Nia said no one likes Charlotte because it’s true. No one likes all the pushes Charlotte gets, it’s pretty ridiculous for her to always be in the title picture. Charlotte beats Shayna for no reason, she wins everything. Shayna shouldn’t be taking pinfalls no matter how protected she is in a tag team.

Miz[c] vs Bobby Lashley

Well that match didn’t happen the way we expected or did it? “This is bullshit” so glad they let MVP say that about what happened the first go around earlier in the show. Shane making their second match a lumberjack match was masterful for the story that was told. Been a loooooong time since the WWE title changed hands on a Monday Night but it did. Bobby Lashley finally grabbed the gold; Black Excellence.

Honorable mentions

  1. Orton interviewed by Kayla Braxton, Alexa has a message for Orton

  2. Retribution steal a victory and look pathetic while doing it.

Final take

Fantastic finish to the show. Storytelling through the entire show leading to a satisfying end.
