Look who’s talking
Braun takes on both and they whoop his ass.
Drew saves Braun and they still lose! Mace and T Bar win via boring count out all count outside aren’t boring but this one was. I did like that this all started backstage though.
6man tag alert
Ryker, Elias & Miz vs New Day & Damian Priest
Miz TV has the weakest guests ever. Elias being interrupted while singing is so incredibly old.
Ryker is pinned by Woods, Woods could have used a decent finisher to beat him though. Only 2 out of the 6 people have a clear direction.
The Queen’s ransom
Sonya Deville arrives at Raw with Charlotte, too soon to do an angle with her. Keeping her off of TV just one week would have done so much. It would have sold the angle last week and had us buy into whatever story they planned this 0⁰week…without her. People get sick of her, she should be booked like Roman, hopefully Sonya is her new mouthpiece. This could be the start of the horsewomen taking over. Charlotte getting more privilege may not be enough to bolster her character anymore. The segment was well done though, she apologized then demanded one of the victim, great heel move.
RK-Bro
Orton addresses Riddle backstage and wants to team with him, it looked like a clear setup. Cedrick Alexander and Shelton Benjamin are just being jobbed out and it seems wrong. Cedrick caught an Rko in mid air, they win and randy didnt turn on him, even Graves thought he’d turn. Orton clearly wants a program with riddle and I love it, this is gonna be something great.
6 woman tag
The champs vs the challengers
Asuka, Lana & Naomi take on Nia, Shayna & Rhea. Cute tag moves from Lana and Naomi but I don’t wanna see cute, I wanna see Ripley dominating. Lana looks better than Naomi does, she sells so well that all she needs is a couple of decent offensive moves. Ripley was doing the most work out there, putting over all of the offense thrown her way. Nia Jax slips on some water when Mandy and Dana come out, they could have kept that bullshit side story. The tag champs try to get serious so not nearly as bad as I thought it’d be.
Charlotte vs Mandy
Sonya gets some revenge on Sonya and puts her in a match with Charlotte. Should’ve had Mandy get a cheap victory and let Charlotte give her a vicious beating afterward. They almost did that but I’m ok with the finish. Charlotte’s new gear is Moulin coupe-like but I love it. It sets a different tone for her. I also like how Charlotte’s face says it all when she disregards her opponents. Mandy Rose didn’t look half bad but that’s an opportunity she should have knocked out of the park.
The champ is here
Lashley is upset about the possibility of defending his title in a triple threat match. Lashley needs a couple more segments on the show to strengthen his character. Drew had plenty of of moments as champ, Lashley should get them too.
Braun vs Drew
Braun wants his title opportunity and he believes the triple threat last week wasn’t fair. Strowman was sure he could beat McIntyre so he got his chance to prove it. After MVP, T Bar and Mace interfered, Braun powerslammed Drew in the middle of the ring ro put Ch hos ticket to Wrestlemania Backlash.
Honorable mentions
Sheamus does Humberto dirty.
Garza wants Nia.
Alexa’s playground.
Final take
A good episode of the show. Still seems to be on auto pilot but as stories develop, so does my interest.
