6 woman tag alert
Asuka, Dana & Mandy vs Charlotte, Shayna & Nia[c]
The tag champs did most of the work, while Charlotte shined in her moments. Nothing I really cared about in this match, the outcome just didn’t matter. Alexa watched from the ramp with Lily. Looks like witchcraft had something to do with Shayna taking the pin. Shayna taking another pin better mean that she won’t be pinned again for at least a year once she’s done with Nia Jax.
Return to Jinder
Finally the Modern Day Maharaja has returned. Shankly and Veer have joined him in his quest to remind the wwe universe of who he is. Jeff Hardy was the first victim but not the last.
8 man tag
Elias, Ryker, Styles & Omos vs RKBro & New Day
Omos was lured out of the ring by New Day because he’s a big dummy I guess. I wasn’t impressed by anything in this match. RKO out of nowhere for the New Day after the match. We will see if RKBro go for the tag team titles at Summerslam, that’s the only interesting thing about this match.
Sheamus[c] vs Humberto
Don’t know how legit the injury is but Humberto was fucked up and whatever they were planning is over. Too bad, Humberto was definitely due for a US title run.
Shelton Benjamin vs Cedrick Alexander
Benjamin wins in a twist. Alexander got too cocky and lost, not a great story but a way to continue things for a while. Alexander needs to have some midcard title opportunities after his feud with Shelton or else this is all for nothing.
Rhea[c] vs Asuka
The Empress pulling double duty tonight for no real reason other than she needs to lose again. Rhea wins clean and Asuka is damaged from all of this. Charlotte on commentary added a decent element. Charlotte’s new look gives her a new attitude, they just need to be sure to book her differently than they have in the past.
Priest vs Morrison
Stipulations on the line so the story was a bit better. Miz cost Morrison again and they are definitely heading for a breakup. I’m hoping that the breakup is so that Morrison can win the United States title and Miz can do his thing until later this year and take the title off of Morrison at the Royal Rumble. Damian Priest has had some immediate success since moving to Raw but will he have meaningful feuds after this?
Drew McIntyre vs Bobby Lashley[c]
MVP paid Braun a visit in his locker room and
Braun take Drew and Bobby both out during the match to assert his will. We won’t know how much that will matter on Sunday but let’s see how the match is booked. I’m thinking that Drew and Bobby team up to take out Braun and they have a one on one match for most of the match. I’m not excited for the outcome but I am excited to see if the match is good or not. I’m hoping Braun is produced much more like he was with Big Show and Seth.

Final take
A decent episode that built momentum for the upcoming PPV on Sunday. Nothing super special but definitely entertaining. Raw is slowly getting back to something that is ok to have on in the background and pay attention to occasionally.
