Usos vs Street Profits

Roman wished the Usos luck then tells Jey they are gonna need it. Wow the Usos promos were so great. Ten minutes of straight promos, they don’t do that at other places cause other places don’t have the talent. Usos win a 30 minute classic. After that the Usos get another tag match for next week, the winner of the tag title match later in the night. Later Roman gets in Jey’s ear.

Riott Squad vs Natalya[c] & Tamina[c]

Good match for the champs to look good, win something against a well established team. Ruby is unhappy and overselling everything she has been since she came back from injury. Get rid of Ruby if she is not going to be in a serious role. She is better than a jobber, she shouldn’t be jobbed out and neither should Liv. That’s me going easy on Ruby Riott ‘s work and her booking.

Carmela vs Bianca Belair[c]

Impressive match for Carmela she can go with the best of them. Bayley joins commentary and she is an absolute delight, even my wife noticed how good she was. Bayley is great and she gets good heat. Pat McAfee is a great instigator, he is doing an amazing job, getting better each and every week. McAfee is also making Cole a little better, keeping him on his toes. Bianca needs to do more in this feud though, right now she is lost in the performance of Bayley, Belair has to do some segments where she really steps it up.

KO vs Apollo[c]

Apollo works the same as he did when he was a babyface and that’s what I like the most, same with the moveset. The only thing I dont like is that he doesn’t use his finisher anymore. KO was about to win but Azeez hit his ass with the Nigerian Nail from outside the ring. Excellent selling for KO during the spot and well afterwards in a backstage segment.

Shinsuke vs Gable

Boogs does his thing again, I really like this pairing, gives Nakamura something cool to do and Boogs is in the big leagues now. Otis attacks Nakamura before the bell but it didn’t matter, Shinsuke wins. Corbin takes the crown and Boogs stops him

Los Mysterios vs The Dirty Dogs

First title defense was successful for the father and son team. Rey was attacked in the back so Dom had to win it by himself the music of Rey Played, distracting Roode and Dom pinned him. It was a call back to their title match when they won the belts. I like the way they flipped the story liked that and had Dominik shine. Usos confront the tag champs as Roman looks on from backstage, seething.

Honorable mentions

1. Seth mocks Cesaro on Seth’s birthday. Then sings happy birthday to himself.

Final take

Everything going on is for a reason, all of the feuds make sense, cante ask for more in pro wrestling. We somehow need more Pat McAfee, he should do some interviews. Bayley would be awesome as a special guest on his podcast. SmackDown is the number 1 show in wrestling right now and they continue to show why every week.
