A moment of Bliss

The Monster Among Men joins the Women’s Tag Team Champions to discuss his upcoming match with Bray Wyatt. The lines they give Bray they could never give Roman, Braun knocks the stuff out of the park. Sure it’s a little bit cartoonish but it works. Bray sent Braun the blackask he wore in the Wyatt Family to send a special, strange message to Strowman, ending the segment as oddly as possible.

Legit loss

Can we get Tamina some new music please? Tamina is not on Sasha’s level and we know that and for that very reason the match should have been shorter. Actually I think it was more of contrasting styles, some timing issues took me out of the match a bit but Bayley can certainly have a good match with Tamina. That better be the last lost for Sasha for a very long time. Lacey Evans gave Tamina the assist because of her ongoing beef with the two besties so Tamina may be your new SmackDown Women’s Champion in the near future.

Tag team triple threat

Miz is trash for losing the tag titles, they must have big plans for Morrison or something. I am really sick of New Day winning the tag titles every other week. I’ve been ready for New Day to become singles wrestlers for years now. The act is old, add a new member or something I don’t know, sitcoms used to add little kids to the cast back in the day when the show needed new life. New Day needs a little Richie. (To be fair, little Richie was an original character on the show, he was just a baby when it started. Whoever planted that seed from the beginning was a genius.)

Daniel Bryan vs Cesaro

I wanted this to go so much longer, it was good and they had a good amount of time to work, I just wish it was at a PPV. Daniel Bryan advances with Drew Gulak watching his back.

Dana Brooke vs Naomi

Iiss cocky heel Dana Brooke, she had so much confidence in NXT and when she got to the Hollywood brands and Charlotte’s henchwoman. She sells well, she talks during her matches, her offense is strong; I want more of Dana and with this win I am going to get more of her. Naomi may be being buried, who knows, I don’t actually care at the moment, Naomi is much better as a heel, it makes her moveset far more believable as well. Maybe, just maybe, Dana Brooke will win MITB

Fire meets desire

I’ve been a Sonya DeVille fan since she was Tough Daria in NXT which was the worst name in NXT history. Sonya’ character has evolved so well and her look is on another level right now. Sonya really sold being fed up with Mandy’s shit, Mandy Rose comes off like the asshole here. The acting started off kinda rough but damn it got good. I left believing every word Sonya DeVille said. Dolph and Otis came out but Mandy and Otis came out on top by the end of the segment.

Honorable mentions

1. Sheamus gets a squash. Jeff Hardy is next on the list for the fella.

2. I like the look back at wrestlers’ careers like Jeff Hardy and now Triple H. It’s great to take a look back and appreciate, also its excellent filler for the show.

3. Howard Finkel received a tribute package.

4. Forgotten Sons video package. Did sAnity get a video package when they came to SmackDown?

5. The truth will be heard but will anyone give a damn? I don’t know who the Mr. Robot mystery character is but I’m having such a hard time trying to give a shit.

6. Elias and Corbin are still a thing. Corbin’s evolving gear is really dope though.

Final take

SmackDown was pretty packed, it’s back to business as usual and the stripped down version of the show seems better for some reason. Maybe it’s the lack of shitty fans, yea I think it’s that. I thoroughly enjoyed the show, I’ve enjoyed more wrestling without the annoying fans than I have with them the past few years. Keep this content coming., I’d say it’s very essential.
