Kevin Owens does the leg work for Roman Reigns and cuts a great promo as usual. Paul addresses Owens and does more of the same. Reigns comes out to the ring as Owens makes it to his dressing room looking for a fight. Reigns gives Kevin the chance to acknowledge him as the Tribal Chief, needless to say, that doesn’t go over well. Jey Uso and Roman Reigns Jump Kevin Owens.

Jey Uso continues to assaulted Owens throughout the night and he is destroyed at the end of the show as well. Owens sits in the ring and has the last word.

Street Profits [c] vs Roode & Ziggler

Ford was worked for most of the match. This feud seems right but it’s missing something. I want to see the Profits get serious with their opponents. I also want to see Roode in the IC title picture.

Riott Squad vs Billie Kaye & Tamina

Yuck, the Riott Squad got watered down and Liv’s solo push is dead for nothing. Riott Squad wins again, glad they are building them up but for what? What’s the end game with Riott Squad? What’s the end game with Billie Kaye?!

A toast

Carmela looks amazing, she is in incredible shape, not just a pretty face. I am so pissed at myself for thinking this gimmick wouldn’t work, when will I learn? Mela is money, always has been, especially on the mic. Sasha got another bottle smashed on her back.

Otis vs Shinsuke Nakamura

Gable has been leading Otis to victories and they are telling a good story, which is leading to something. I think this is where Gable works best, where he belongs. Otis and Gable will eventually have a match and that should be must see.

The Samis

The Intercontinental Champion host his own awards show. The critics will say Sami is underutilized but he is holding down long segments and a champion right now. Big E screws with Sami and ruins his production by rigging it to where he won an award. Big E is gonna win the IC title soon, this means the card will open up and guys like Cesaro will elevate their status by having great matches with E.

Bianca vs Bayley

The interview before the match with Bianca was cool, a little too corny but its wrestling, that’s gonna happen. There are no bad Bayley matches, no matter who she faces so when she has a good opponent its gonna be a show.

Bayley wins, pretty baffling result considering they are pushing Belair.

Honorable mentions

  1. Spammy Awards next week.

  2. Wwe are the only people I’ve seen put 2020 in proper perspective, cutting a promo against it and having 2021 beat it in an animated vignette.

Final take

I needed juuust a little more oomph to this show to get me ready for TLC. Not a bad show but it needed some hot sauce.
