The Rated R Superstar opened the show when he was interrupted by the head of the table. Roman is really doing some great work with his character. Sami Zayn came out and had a lot to say but was super kicked by Jey Uso. That’s when Roman put the mic down, hands behind his back and whispered something to Edge. It was probably something about Roman paying a visit to his wife in NXT…at least that’s what I hope he whispered.

Shinsuke vs Apollo

Instead of getting serious, Big E is even more of a clown. That does not mean he’s not entertaining. I’ll say this, keep doing what works until it’s time to hold the heavyweight title. Shinsuke Nakamura gets a quick victory and Apollo loses his fuckjng mind. Apollo’s turn to the dark side was quite pleasant. He beat the hell out of Shinsuke and Big E.

Riott Squad vs Tamina & Natalya

New gear for Tamina looks good, I’m a big fan of new gear. Tamina looked great throughout this match, a big swing in momentum for her. Natalya also looked pretty strong. Liv Morgan has been impressive for quite some time now and I’m looking for her to get a singles push and a title shot after Wrestlemania. Billie Kaye leads to another loss for the Riott Squad

Use the door

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are Bayley’s guests but of course she has uninvited guests. First Reginald then Sasha then Bianca. We knew this would turn into a match and we knew the faces would win. The journey to get there was good though. Reginald is quite taken with Sasha Banks so there are multiple layers to this.

6 woman tag alert

Now they haven’t had these every week like they used to so I’m perfectly okay with this one. They used to throw random people in 6 woman tag matches years ago, so glad we’ve moved past that. Bayley is amazing, wrestling in socks, no matter how brief is amazing. I like how she was in the background as the winning team celebrated. Reginald is great in these matches, perfect bumps and perfect selling each time. Bianca and Dasha respecting each other instead of being catty is refreshing, normally it’s just silly jealousy but these two are even able to work together. Sasha and Bianca are the babyface equivalent of Nia and Shayna.

Los Mysterios vs Alpha Academy

Didn’t actually see this coming. I thought Otis was going to be the dumb babyface that was manipulated by his partner/manager for months until someone told him what was going on. Nope, Otis gets disqualified for continuously splashing Rey Mysterio. Otis kept the pain coming, Otis snapped and now he’s a heel.

Chamber danger

Cesaro, Daniel Bryan & KO vs Corbin, Zayn & Jey Uso

Okay, this 6 man tag makes sense. So many great things about this;

Edge and Heyman on commentary
Heyman and Cole all of these guys were great together, the different dynamics between them all were fantastic.
The talking in the ring from all of these maineventers
The ending where everyone gets their shit in.

This match was the perfect backdrop for an Elimination Chamber storyline.
