Let me reintroduce myself
Edge calls out Daniel Bryan and reminds Roman, Daniel and everyone else just who the hell he is. Daniel Bryan wasn’t gonna stand by while Edge chewed him out.
Street Profits & Los Mysterios vs Roode-Dolph[c] & Alpha Academy
Great experience for Dominik, Otis and Gable really worked him. Being in the ring with such great workers is what’s going to propel Dominik in this company. I can see Dominik some day down the line becoming Universal or even WWE Champion. I thought this was kind of a throw away match at first but it was pretty good and furthered 2 stories at once. Michael Cole was exceptional during this match as well. The match ended well also. Dominik and Rey are going to win those titles before the Street Profits do again.
Murphy vs Cesaro
Seth watches from the stage but of course he couldn’t control himself and attacked Cesaro during the match. I like where things are going, this is a great way to push Cesaro, get a few great matches with Seth into the books. Murphy seems to be embracing the vision again which is what’s best for business.
Bianca & Sasha vs Natalya & Tamina
The KO Show is what it is, I think it’s not a good idea to have bad actors on it. Many people didn’t like that Bianca took a pinfall loss to Tamina however, it’s part of the rebranding of Natalya and Tamina. Bianca can definitely take a loss right now, especially when its via shenanigans. I’m normally against that sort of booking but the internet wrestling community has overreacted. They foreshadowed the loss there’s no problem, its wasnt even like she caught a finisher.
Big E[c] vs Sami
Big E addresses Apollo. I liked the passion and seriousness from E, if he was wearing a rainbow outfit it would do a lot more for him. Big E and Sami Zayn have a good match but we know how it’s all going to end. Apollo atta is Big E, causing a disqualification.
Contract signing
Daniel Bryan gets under Roman’s skin so he’ll actually agree to the match at FastLane. Jey USO is heated and wants some action, he wants revenge for Daniel Bryan beating him so special guest enforcer is mentioned. Love the quick thinking from Jey Uso, I love the input and challenge from Edge even more. Things turn into a big brawl and Daniel Bryan takes out Edge in the heat of the moment.
Honorable mentions
Reginald is swept off his feet while Shayna rolls her eyes.
Edge gets himself a match with Jey Uso.
Final take
A great show from start to finish. The last segment felt so fresh and so real. Edge and Daniel Bryan are definitely going to have a feud in the future. I’m loving all of it, keep it going.
