Michael on Bryan

Michael Cole ask Daniel Bryan why was the tag match with Edge and Bryan was called off by Bryan. We haven’t seen this fire since the Yes movement began. I like where Daniel Bryan is going with his character. Of course the champ had something to say. Best promo from Roman Reigns ever. Roman is great right now but Jey Uso is on another level. Too bad his cheap shot didn’t work this time.

Profits vs Corbin & Zayn… just not together

Tez vs Corbin, it was ok but too short, could’ve really done something there.

Then Zayn vs Dawkins, Sami loses; how the mighty have fallen?

Street Profits have cooled off quite a bit, they need more segments. Sami Zayn needs to push his character further.

Dominik Mysterio vs Chad Gable

Mat wrestling clinic. I really like what we saw from Dominik, he is really good; a lot better than people that have been there for over a decade. Mysterio wins clean and Rey gets his revenge on Otis after the match. I like this feud, solid midcard stuff.

Bianca vs Shayna[c]

Sasha looks on from ringside as Shayna Baszler takes another fucking loss! I am positive that Shayna will break up with Nia Jax and start to win again amd get a push but it’s annoying to see her lose the way she has been. Especially when she was so dominant in NXT.

Murphy vs Cesaro

Seth on commentary while Buddy Murphy takes an unnecessary loss. Murphy should have won by Seth interfering, not lost clean. Cesaro definitely needs to keep his streak going but this is a match he could have lost because of Shenanigans.

Apollo

Great promo, great entrance, #blackexcellence. Apollo needs the Intercontinental Championship immediately. He looks like a champ and he needs the gold to make it official.

Steel Cage

Jey “Main event” Uso vs Daniel “Yes Movement” Bryan

DB attacked Jey during an interview, letting Jey know that he is no pushover. Roman strolls out to oversee tonight’s events, too bad all he saw was Daniel Bryan beating Jey Uso for a shot at the Universal title at FastLane.

Honorable mentions

  1. Carmella trashes Reginald

  2. Bayley has a new segment on Ding Dong hello.

Final take

Another solid ending for a great product. SmackDown and WWE are firing on all cylinders right now.
