Mafia shit
The Universal Champion tells us how he feels. If you say you’re gonna win, you better win. The mafia gimmick really is working, it’s not something I thought I’d see but Roman has evolved his character perfectly.
Usos vs Rey[c] & Dominik Mysterio[c]
The champs retain after telling an excellent story in the ring. The Usos were screwed, Jimmy’s shoulder was up. We knew the way this was gonna go. Later, Roman yells that he doesn’t wanna hear it, most passion he has ever shown. He had a riveting speech about family then does something that would cement the diabolical character as a legend. Roman mistakes Jey for Jimmy to purposely piss him off.
Carmella vs Liv Morgan
When that beat drops in Carmella’s entrance music that is money, she should be champ when they don’t know who to put it on. So glad Liv Morgan is finally getting the push they’ve been teasing. Looks like now that Ruby is gone, Liv is free to be herself and worry about her own push. The match was cool, lost of unique offense from these two. Shoulda just gave Liv the win instead of telling the story this way.
Come on, do something
I am glad that the Bayley vs Bianc feud is continuing but Bianca Belair isn’t wrestling, she hasn’t done shit since winning the title. She hasn’t done enough in the ring yet to make a strong enough impression to where she could take breaks. Maybe she’s injured.
King vs King
Don’t like the 50/50 booking in this feud but I do understand it. Corbin winning but still not having the crown is the only reason they are even having matches. Let Rick Boogs get in the ring and wrestle, let’s see what he’s got. I assume that match is next week or maybe even at Hell in a Cell.
Apollo[c] vs KO
Azeez attacked KO in the back before the match, leaving him injured before the great match even took place. Heel Apollo works so smart, not relying purely on his athleticism as he did as a babyface. Apollo didn’t even win with his finisher which is so refreshing to see. Don’t know where Owens goes from here but Sami Zayn sure does. Sami attacks Owen’s after his loss while he was still in the ring.

Usos vs Los Mysterios
The Usos started off red hot but found themselves in the same situation as before. The Tribal Chief wasn’t about to let the family look weak so he viciously attacked Rey and Dom. Jimmy walked out while Jey pondered whether to stay behind or join his brother. Roman just beat the hell out of Dominik until the show faded to black, brutal.

Final take
Strong finish for the top wrestling show on television. Roman is owning the business right now, hard to say otherwise. The supporting cast is very strong with a few wrestlers on the verge of breaking out and being stars.
