Falls count anywhere

Sheamus vs Big E

Not Best Friends vs LAX but damn good. They weren’t playing around in this match, it looked pretty brutal. Big E won and he was impressive, I may have been wrong about his push.

Jey confronts Roman

Jey ask the stipulation, Heyman interrupts as Reigns addresses Jey from a position of power, at the seat of power and Roman tells him it’s an I quit match. That’s gonna be some fantastic – classic – old time storytelling.

Jeff Hardy & Matt Riddle vs Miz & Morrison

Broetry in motion wins their first and possibly only tag match together. Lars Sullivan reemerges after the match and destroyed EVERYTHING. (Lars has already been in trouble again since this episode aired)

Sasha vs Bayley [c]

A bullshit no finish of course. I’m just not interested in this feud right now, I don’t know what it is but I’m not invested.

The 2020 Draft

Seth is headed to SmackDown

AJ traded back to RAW

Naomi goes to RAW to be bland in a whole new environment

Bianca Belair to SmackDown

Ricochet really needed to go to SmackDown

Mandy was already traded and they still drafted her to RAW

Dominik and Rey go to SmackDown

Big E and Otis stay on Fridays

New Day vs Cesaro [c] & Nakamura [c]

Annnnnd NEEEEW 7 time world tag team champs! So sick of the New Day, they haven’t been together for a while and they are super annoying as soon as they reunite. It’s a good thing they are now split up on different brands. These guys aren’t serious enough and I don’t care enough to pay attention for the rare times they are. Now what happens to Cesaro and Nakamura?!

Kevin Owens vs the Fiend

The Fiend wrestle live on free television for the first time. It’s been a year since the Fiend debuted and he has not wrestled on television one time.

Kevin Owens vs the Fiend

The Fiend wrestles live on free television for the first time. It’s been a year since the Fiend debuted and he has not wrestled on television one time. Kevin Owens is an excellent opponent for the Fiend and for Bray Wyatt. The match was ok, nothing super special, I wanted so much more as far as out of the ring stuff but the Mandible Claw/ Stunner spot was pretty cool. A very cool way to end a special episode of SmackDown.

Honorable mentions

New Day are back, a big deal for the tag team division for either brand.

AJ Styles complains about not being the number 1 pick for SmackDown

They said COVID-19 on commentary.

New Day break up.

Final take

The card was pretty stacked for this show; it was almost like a PPV, especially with the Fiend wrestling for the first time on television.
