An insanely stacked card from top to the very bottom.
So glad to see Buddy Murphy continue his reign as the best champion 205 Live has had besides Neville. Cedrick Alexander is the most boring wrestler I’ve ever heard speak…besides maybe Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax. Buddy Murphy and Cedrick Alexander never disappoint in the ring.
Mixed Match Challenge
The Fabulous Truth beats Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox to become the #30 entrants in their respective Royal Rumble.
#TagTeamTitles was one hell of a match. No weapons just athletic abilities. Sheamus made sure that the Bar retained their titles.
Revenge is a dish best served by members of the Raw locker room whom you’ve screwed over.Baron Corbin is no longer the GM of Raw. Finally a baby face outsmarted a heel and didn’t look like a chump.
Natty gets even with Ruby Riott in a match that could have been a lot shorter and sweeter.
Dolph with the assist to Finn Balor for the win over Drew McIntyre; no Demon, no problem!
Dolph wasn’t done with Finn; backstage he told Finn he was welcomed before he threw into some equipment cases.
Two veterans of pro wrestling showed that they indeed, still got it. Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton put on a hell of a #chairsmatch.
The irresistible force Nia Jax was visibly nervous; was a good thing because her and Ronda tore the house down! Nia and Ronda gave the performance of a lifetime. Tamina didn’t do nothing and that facebreaker crap didn’t mean anything. The crowd wasn’t super into Ronda after her initial pop and after her victory but they most certainly appreciated her. Nia seemed a little flat footed and less intense than anticipated but she appeared to work clean and safe and the match was great so that’s a solid win for is all. After Nia’s defeat, Becky showed up backstage to kick Nia while she was down, literally.
Right after you think you’ve seen the match of the night, Daniel Bryan and AJ Style comes get into the ring and put on a classic for the WWE Championship.
After 3 hours the crowd was running on fumes. To be fair, the fued between Seth and Dean just wasn’t that hot.
4 hours, could been 3 if they took 5 min from all 12 matches which they shoulda that Seth and Dean match sucked man no stipulations and too long. They be setting them two up man. Every time it’s work to be done they gotta do it all. Ironman matches, gauntlet matches. Hardcore matches. EVERYTHING man and they don’t get no help. Match gets put on in a bad spot, crowd is dead from 3 hours of wrestling after being a damn good crowd
The show flowed well tonight, the earlier start time definitely helped. Commentary was abysmal at times, that third position isn’t necessary, absolutely nothing left for anyone to say in that position.
The crowd was great all night and gave everything they had in every match, from the Mixed Match Challenge all the way through to the end. Every match was way too long tonight, shaving 5 minutes off of each match would have saved an hour of run-time.
