Drew McIntyre [c] vs AJ Styles

I would have closed the show with this match, that’s how good it was. AJ broke Drew down in a way no one has before. Miz unsuccessfully cashed in his MITB briefcase but damn was it a solid attempt. The match had everything we asked for in it. I’m surprised Miz isn’t champ because I have no idea who’s facing Drew at Wrestlemania.

Carmela vs Sasha Banks [c]

Carmela has worked very hard, that hard work shows in the ring. Carmela has gotten her body into top form. Wow, what a performance from Carmela, she needs to squash a bunch of jobbers and get a decent feud for the Royal Rumble, then move on to challenge Sasha at Wrestlemania. Sasha put Carmela’s performance over very well

New Day [c] vs Hurt Business

Finally, Cedrick Alexander is feeling himself, tagging himself in for the final sequence, getting the win for the Hurt Business. This victory makes the Hurt Business a powerhouse on Monday nights. I’m thinking that Retribution will be the ones to taking the titles off of them but that’s not for a while.

Black excellence.

Shayna [c] & Nia [c] vs Asuka & Charlotte

Asuka brought out Charlotte, really obvious choice, saw that coming 80 miles away. Charlotte got lean! So many wrestlers have gotten their bodies where they want them, in tip top shape. That’s really good to see that they are using their time off very wisely. Charlotte came in to do work, easily winning the titles from Nia and Shayna. Iwonder how long it’ll take for the Queen to turn heel.

Roman Reigns [c] vs Kevin Owens

Started with a bang, a much needed bang from Owens. That would not stop Jey Uso from being a big part of the match, stopping Owens from capturing the Universal title. Great match that will strengthen the reign of Roman.

Inferno

Dante doesn’t have anything on this fiery beast. An imaginative new take on the inferno match we all needed. Orton was masterful, the Fiend was in his element and somehow Orton won. After winning, Randy Orton set the Fiend’s body on fire, yes on FIRE! The PG era died with that single act by the Viper.
