Final take
Empty arena shows aren’t ideal but they are all we have. HHH and Cody did a great job at opening their shows. The wrestling on AEW was good as was what WWE put on this/last week. Judgement is reserved for those with the discernment to use it properly, wrestling fans make the worst judges nowadays. The atmosphere is toxic like a nuclear fallout and all AEW and WWE are trying to do is entertain us.
I’m not really going to judge either show or really compare them, they are here to entertain us and they did just that. Enjoy what you have while you still have it. The fans have been absolutely trash during this whole thing and truthfully, they don’t deserve any wrestling with the way they act. In these troubling times two companies did the best they can with what they have. They decided what was best and they executed well. I, for one, am grateful to have wrestling. Thank you AEW and NXT/WWE for all that you do. That goes for any other pro wrestling company or entertainment company still up and running.
