Great news for NXT, not so good news for AEW. Key demo talk is for people that just want something to talk about. Chris Jericho of all people, “educated” is on key demos on Twitter and looked like a complete chode while doing so. It was a major L for the GOAT. Dave Meltzer also shared his star rating with the world, making an absolute ass out of himself in the process. Meltzer didn’t rate a single match on the Great American Bash higher than anything on Fyter Fest and not one show on Fyter Fest was below 3 stars according to Meltzer.

Tag division

Both shows had quality wrestling. Let me say this again, AEW doesn’t have a wrestling problem, it has a booking problem. The fact that Best Friends has been one of the top teams since last year is reason enough to put them over but they lost so that FTR can beat Omega and Page and then the Bucks will beat FTR, making the Bucks the greatest tag team in our era…. Or at least that is the story they are trying to tell, which is why the Bucks have been waiting to crown themselves. Kenny may be the only person out of the Elite that isn’t booking himself so he can say he’s the greatest ever later.

Women’s division

Banks and Shirai bring the house down and the viewership up but Meltzer gives Penelope Ford and Shida more praise. The women of WWE are taking wrestling by storm and it’s not even a competition.

Honorable mentions

1. The matches on both shows that aren’t for titles are advancing the story but very little on the AEW side of things; per usual.

Final take

Meltzer and Jericho are doing more harm than good right now. People see the bias and that those two guys are completely full of shit. Both the bash and fest have another night left and I expect things to go very differently, with AEW pulling ahead with a strong victory and NXT losing viewers, especially now since everything was leaked due to it being pretaped.
