I took my family to their first Raw ever. It was loud, time consuming and a great time. My wife isn’t a wrestling cam at all but our wedding bands are wwe tag team championship finger rings. My sons like wrestling and they definitely have their favorites. They know Bobby Lashley is a heel and boo him but they like to boo him. They know the Miz and a few others on Raw. They are bigger NXT fans I think, they like the money guys Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase, LA Knight and Cameron Grimes. My kids are really young, they aren’t used to sitting still for hours but they did really well.

Golden 1 Center is a great venue, it’s spacious, comfortable, modern and you can actually see from any seat in the house. At old Comiskey Park you could lose your life if you took a Rumble from the nose bleeds. The food was good too, expensive but it did the job. Security was great, nice, took pictures of me and my family; made my wife and kids feel welcomed. The covid test my children had to take before entering the buying was very quick and painless, with results texted right to us in 15 minutes. There were also wristbands available to make entry even smoother.

My wife wore her custom “World’s Greatest Wife” WWE women’s title that I gifted her for her birthday. I wore my ’87 Andre on white leather title, we also wore matching jackets. My youngest son wore his Spiderman outfit that he got for his birthday. We met friends there as well that we met up with after the show.

The show

The only time the crowd booed the booking or something they actually didn’t like was when Goldberg and Lashlwy didn’t do a LIVE interview in front of the Sacramento crowd. I wanted to chant Goldberg, the crowd had been chanting it since before the show started. Ricochet and John Morrison got huge pops. Keith Lee was also well received, he was the first big name out. Shayna Baszler is a fan favorite as well as Bianca Belair.

The New Day are great for any live crowd, Big E did his thing. Finn Balor was among my wife’s favorites, that entrance is amazing. Jeff Hardy is a legend, you can put the title on him at any time and it would be fine. Austin Theory was great, he worked the crowd the way a heel is supposed to. There were so many cool moments that I can’t write them all.

Charlotte and Bianca were the stars of the show. The match they had tore the fucking house down! Even my wife marked out over the action and masterfully crafted nearfalls. Regardless of the finish, that is a match of the year candidate. Charlotte got her boos, the babyfaces got their pop, it was a great night in Sacramento.

I went to the lobby to get my wife a drink and buy us all some shirts but they had no kids stuff left that my children liked so I got two “Bloodline t-shirts for me and my wife. When we got home, she took it out of the bag with a big smile on her face and said, “I’m going to wear this to work tomorrow. I asked her if she wanted to go back and she said “yeah, I want floor seats.”
