A Raw return

Becky announces herself as the first pick for Monday Night Raw and the crowd loves it. Honestly, she won’t be a heel for long, they already like her more than anyone she faces. The only person that would be a sympathetic babyface is Liv Morgan at this point. Charlotte and Becky have a great back and forth, when Bianca joins and gets the crowd behind her. Like I said before, Becky is so over, she had to shut up most of the time so she wouldn’t overshadow others. The Bianca

Jeff Hardy vs Priest[c]

Hardy’s booking remains strong even in a loss. He has stayed relevant throughout his second run in WWE and it should continue on SmackDown. We also get a special Willow tease from Jeff during his post match interview.

Austin Theory interrupts Jeff’s speech with one of his own. Just so he could knock Jeff out like a true heel and take a selfie with him. Theory’s goofiness and his athleticism will keep him in Vince McMahon good graces.

Baszler vs Dana Brooke

I was pretty sure she had been released or something, Dana most certainly will be after she is jobbed out for every new person coming to Raw. Dana has regressed quite a bit in the ring, it’s sad really, she was ahead of most people on the main roster when she was called up now she will be AEW bound in a few months.

Doudrop helps Dana after the match. That’s a good match right there, too bad Doudrop’s gimmick is a joke and lame so no one cares. That is horrible because Piper is a good wrestler.

Thank you

Big E addresses Drew but the Dirty Dawgs had some words for the champ and former champ. You see Dolph Ziggler is responsible for where these men are today and oh yeah, he brought recipes. Dolph actually killed these guys on the mic, he did help establish both guys, everything he said was spot on. WWE does long term storytelling let no one tell you different. Drew pins Dolph and none of that meant anything now.

Natalya & Tamina vs Rhea[c] & Nikki[c]

Nikki A.S.H gets no reaction anymore, its pretty sad. I understand her character but it’s too corny, same thing with Doudrop. Tamina and Natalya need to split up or get interesting characters. They could be badasses, book them like the APA!

Bitch imma kill you

So Goldberg is going to kill Bobby Lashley for attacking his son. Honestly, it sounds like Lashley didn’t know it was him but it doesn’t matter now. Cedrick Alexander and Benjamin jump Goldberg but get speared for their troubles.

Monday Night Rollins

Seth was on one, he started spitting Eminem lyrics. Then he said” I don’t give a shit who steps to me” haha, what an icon. Seth being back on Raw will make this show great again. Seth will go at Big E and improve everything single

Bianca vs Charlotte[c]

Why even have this match?! We know it’s gonna end in bullshit so just save it, could have had a tag team match with the two champs vs the two challengers. Sasha Banks showed up after Becky took out Charlotte and Bianca, then she was taken out by the Boss. A tag match would have been really cool and given nothing away. Drew and Big E had a tag match earlier, why not combine the segments and make the 2 matches there.

Honorable mentions

  1. Mansoor and Ali lose a tag match against Garza and Humberto who are already. leaving for SmackDown.

  2. Reggie does more of his circus act with zero feeling or meaning behind any of it.

  3. KO stuns Tozawa.

  4. Orton challenges Omos.

  5. New Day beat the Hurt Business.

Final take

The crowd was good, a couple things didn’t go over well and they didn’t bury the talent which was refreshing. Crown Jewel is going to be really good, no way around that now.
