Money in the Bank competitors meet in the ring for a chance to talk shit to each other. Matt Riddle was hurt during an exchange, making his match with AJ Styles later, very difficult. Other than that the segment was just decent.

Ricochet vs John Morrison

I wish they had kept this feud from happening until fans returned. I wish they did more. I wish, I wish, I wish. At least we have this right now and its a hot angle, its a hot feud.

8 woman tag

Nikki A.S.H. Alexa, Naomi & Asuka vs Shayna, Nia Jax, Eva Marie & Doudrop

How is Alexa a babyface? Did we miss something about Alexa? We need to know where her character is going at some point, some point soon. More games from Eva, doing a good job of pissing everyone off, even other heels. Piper Niven is clearly using her. Nikki was pinned, I disagree with that decision but I am not sure if they are pushing Nikki or if they are just wasting time until they are in front of fans again. Naomi looked good in this match so thats something, maybe a heel turn on Asuka gets a decent push out of her.

Learn a lesson

Mustafa Ali vs Mansoor

Really should have held off just a little while longer with this feud. Fans need undercard feuds like this to get into to strengthen their love of the product. This is something that should be invested in. Mustafa’s generic theme slaps, you can tell he is from Chicago. Mansoor lets his guard down and gets rolled up by Ali, exactly how the first match between them should’ve gone. Mansoor wins the next one and the rubber match burns the house down.

Drew McIntyre vs Jinder Mahal

Jinder’s promo skills have vastly improved. They were never that bad but they are noticeably on point now. The match was ok, told a decent lil story, nothing crazy. I like the start of this feud though. Jinder looks like a bishop. When you got goons, they take out the competition and Jinder took Drew’s sword after the match.

Riddle vs Styles

Riddle refused to go down even on a bad leg. Riddle wins via distraction from the Viking Raiders. I wonder what role Damian Priest will play later, Priest is a heel, he’s too nice to stay babyface. This match didn’t do anything for anyone really.

Elias & Cedrick Alexander vs Ryker & R Truth

Okay, R Truth might be able to make Ryker likeable. Elias leaves Cedrick to fight for himself.

Raw is being buried on Twitter and this is why. This match is why the show is “bad”. Please look at this match and take notes.

New Day vs Lashley[c] & MVP

4 black men, all have won championships, black excellence. Got to love some of the things WWE has put together. Why are New Day working heel and beating up MVP in this match? I hate having to ask myself stupid questions like this. The match wasn’t bad, it served its purpose, I just didn’t really care about it. New Day win. Woods better be turning on Kofi at MITB.

Honorable mentions

1. Lucha House Party beat Mace and TBar. I forgot both teams existed. Clearly Mace and TBar are about to be released.

2. Charlotte and Ripley clash with crutches. Charlotte could have been left off of this show, to make her more special. Gotta keep the stars special.

Final take

A decent episode, not disjointed like episodes in the past. Nothing special about these shows, something needs to happen to pull it all together the way Roman and his family is the focal point of SmackDown.
