Signed sealed delivered

A new formula for the contract signings has arrived and it makes total sense. Becky and Sasha are so good on the mic, kind of unfair that Bianca has to be in there with them. Turn Bianca heel when the time comes please. The segment stalled a bit because Bianca got some negative feedback, her attempt to throw a big ass chair out of the ring didn’t help. You know what does help? Bianca flexin on em; putting them both through a table.

Who we really need to be a part of this is Bayley!

Seeds of doubt

Sami vs Rey

Sami tells Dom that he is even better than his father backstage. Zayn is doing some great heel work by just being a snake in the grass. The king of the ring tournament starts here and the match was worthy of the prestigious tournament. Rey loses because Dominick was trying to help after something Zayn had done. Looks like we are going to have father against son soon.

Queen’s Crown

Zelina Vega vs Toni Storm

The historic tournament begins with a match that should have went like 20 minutes. Vega wins, another win she desperately needed. Unfortunately she hasn’t been booked to win too much so a little goes a long way. Vega may actually win this thing, that would certainly give her some credibility as a challenger for a title.

Message for the beast

The head of the table forces Heyman to be the messenger. Roman Reigns was ruthless, he is starting to become the kind of heel that will do really bad things to people. Reigns still doesn’t trust Heyman and thi vs are at their boiling point. You can tell that Reigns is just trying to give Paul Heyman a false sense of security so that he can pounce on him. It will be an ugly turn, we will see a side of Roman we have NEVER seen before.

Live and let die

Carmela vs Liv Morgan

This should have been the first match between them. The feud is good and meaningful but now its just overdone. Good loss for Morgan, makes sense for this to happen this way, Liv is clearly going to get some big wins and be in the title picture before we know it.

Don’t push me

All show long Setb Rollins had been a dick. He was wearing the most obnoxious suit ever, he kept acting like he didn’t have time to waste for I terriers and everything, just being a real heel about things. Rollins finally got the answer to the age old question, what happens when a man is pushed to the Edge. The ultimate opportunist shows up just before the show ends to let Seth know how it’s going down…HELL IN A CELL!

Honorable mentions

  1. Hit Row vignette gets a good crowd reaction and the music slaps.

  2. Corbin and Moss beat up Kevin Owens again.

  3. Mace does an interview and it’s wack.

  4. Balor beats Cesaro to advance in the KOR tournament.

  5. Naomi vs Sonya next week. This feels too contrived for my taste, lets hope Naomi has a good match that is worthy of a push.

Final take

Everything on the show feels important, even the losses are crucial. The roster shakeup will do everyone some good so we are all looking forward to that. New challengers mean more long term storytelling. It’s an exciting time in the E right now. History is being made along with some big moves to setup a bright future for the blue brand on Fox.
