I’m a Survivor

The Survivor Series SmackDown women’s team is named:

Shayna

Natalya

Aliyah

Shotzi

Sasha (captain)

The team seems pretty good, I like their chances.

Naomi crashes the party and fights break out between everybody. That’s how you Segway into a multi-woman match. Sasha attacked Shayna so she is officially a face, she also teamed with them. I wanted more out of her face turn than just her catching a beatdown from Shotzi.

Naomi, Aliyah & Sasha vs Shotzi, Shayna & Natalya

Aliyah is a high level horse rider…pat McAfee has a way with words as he informs us about Aliyah’s background. Aliyah is surrounded by talent, legends if she doesn’t thrive here, this aint her sport. Naomi may not be as good as Aliyah to be honest, not at actual in-ring work. Aliyah pins Natalya and the rookie is being celebrated, gearing up for a push….Sonya strips Aliyah of her position on the team backstage. WTF was that?!

Later, Ali talks to Aliyah, Ricochet steps in

Really great follow up and integration with her story.

Nakamura[c] & Boogs vs Los Lotharios

The cousins are picking up steam with wins over people who have been around longer and are more established than they are. I like Boogs and Nakamura as a team because wins and losses don’t matter at all when it comes to acts like theirs. Nakamura can be pushed whenever they want to and Boogs is a cool piece to the puzzle that adds comedy and excitement.

Hot mic, hot crowd

Charlotte looks like she has a recurring role in Dynasty, her wardrobe is perfect for her character. She also sounds salty and the way she’s talking, she could be on her way out of the company. If you don’t think so, remember , no one is bigger than the company. This crowd was great, Charlotte handed them shit and they ate it like sugar! After the queen called out the entire lockerroom, Toni Storm answered the call only to be denied a title shot by Flair. Storm would be a great choice for champ, it could really get some quality matches out of the undercard as well as get people pushes that otherwise wouldn’t get a shot with Flair on top. Even if Storm is like an interim champ she is a quality worker that can get not only herself but the rest of the division as well.

You talk to much and you never shut up

Jeff Hardy vs Sami Zayn

Loser is off the Survivor Series team

Adam Pearce has hired muscle, it’s NXT’s Von Wagner. Wagner being here means O’ Reilly is gone for sure ot maybe it means the tag team will see some main roster success. I honestly thought Hardy was going to be booked to lose but it was pretty funny when Sami lost. They put the graphic up to fade Sami out of the picture of the team like it was Back To The Future.

Royal proclamation

Who will bend a knee? It’s not gonna be Roman, I can guarantee you that. I don’t think Roman is losing until Wrestlemania 2023 in Hollywood to Drew McIntyre. Xavier Woods had no chance, I mean he would have won but the Usos were lurking. The Usos save the day and whoop Woods who was all alone because Kofi was taken out last week. To add insult to injury, the Usos crowned Reigns after taking it from a beaten down Xavier Woods.

Honorable mentions

  1. Corbin and Moss have beef with the Viking Raiders.

  2. Cesaro warns Ridge Holland about Sheamus.

  3. Shanky got flow and beef with Hit Row

Final take

What a hot crowd! They cheered everyone on and played along with everything they were given. The show felt like it was missing quite a few stars but it had its biggest one and Reigns did not disappoint. The best show keeps getting better, the women’s division is heating up, things are really rocking for the blue brand right now.
