Edge promo

Of course Edge dropped a great promo but for some reason I don’t care. I don’t like that Edge may take Roman out. That’s why I’m glad Seth is going to interfere, costing Edge the title when the time comes.

Kingsuke Nakamura

Nakamura & Big E vs Corbin & Apollo Crews[c]

This Baron Corbin story is hilarious, he’s pathetic and its perfect. Corbin doesn’t get the credit he deserves for what he can do. Unkept Corbin hahaha, this shit is great. Rick Boogs distracted Corbin by telling him his car was repoed, Big E took advantage with a Big Ending and a pin. I want Big E to get a new opponent after MITB.

Bae-ley

Bayley is looking good, she has a swagger Becky and the other horse women had. I would like to see Bayley making some NXT appearances, her character is bringing the best out of everyone around her. Bianca beat Bayley and she is still just skipping around and talking. An I quit match is big league stuff though, Bayley and Bianca are really setting the stage with some great women’s matches in a rivalry that seems to be a lot bigger, longer, deeper than what it actually has been.

Last man standing

Not match of the year but a tier below. If there were bigger stakes involved and it was set on a bigger stage, perhaps it would be match of the year. Owens wins, heading to Money in the Bank for a chance to be champ on any brand he chooses.

Surprise surprise

Zelina Vega returns! I’m so glad she didn’t go to AEW where someone breaks their neck or some other serious injury every week. That women’s division is atrocious, still. Money in the bank needs a hero, a champion like Vega. All of the skills are there. Bianca would really benefit from a feud with Zelina.

Liv Morgan is pissed, she should be more worried about sounding authentic. She is, she just doesn’t sound like it. Liv Morgan beats Zelina with shenanigans after challenging her to a match. This is a good way to get Liv Morgan over with some wins before fans return.

Otis vs Dawkins

Alpha Academy has transformed Otis into a badass that is serious about this! This is the Otis we wanted all along and we’re finally getting what we want. Dawkins needs to bring more to the table without Ford or he will be left in the cold when they split.

Call em out

Jimmy Uso is left hanging when he calls out Edge. Roman Reigns was nowhere in sight and Jimmy got the breaks beat off of him. The fallout from this obvious setup is going to be very interesting.

Final take

When a match takes up a great portion of the show and its in the middle, its gonna make the show look much better than what it is. There wasn’t much to the show but what we got was pretty damn good as usual.
