Becky with the good hair

Lynch isn’t the heel she needs to be yet, it doesn’t seem quite natural. Bianca is loved by the crowd but she still struggles as a babyface. Bianca needs to move on from the title picture so we can see what she’s got.

Royalty

Apollo vs King Nakamura[c]

Very good match, this was placed very well on the show, good pace to the match as well. Nakamura has been on fire since his feud with Corbin, I like what I see, perhaps there is a Universal tie run in his future.. Of course Boogs got involved and Nakamura won buy I would keep Boogs out of things a little more to make the wins cleaner.

Liv vs Zelina

Carmela was ringside to cause a distraction of course. I just didn’t think the match would go the way it did; Zelina won?! Good, she really needed a feather in her cap. It was from a distraction but that’s fine because it’s okay for heels to do that sort if thing. It’ll also make Liv’s win over Carmela at Extreme Rules. Good storytelling.

Happy talk

Corbin has a new show but what he really has is the right type of heat. Corbin is great and has been great. Kevin Owens doesn’t think so but hey, you can’t win em all. This is a good use of Owens right now. You know who else it’s a good use of? Riddick Moss. Moss returns and puts in work, beating the hell out of Owens. Okay, now you have my attention.

Nikki[c] vs Natalya

The women’s tag champs are being used well,, Rhea is a fan favorite so get her on television more. Natalya lost because that’s usually what she does unfortunately but the match was more about setting up new challengers. Enter Shotzi and Knox. Tegan looks great, they need to do more with her, she could be as over as anyone if they just let her work and tell her story.

Cringe

Naomi had an odd promo that just didn’t do what it was supposed to do for me. This story is not good enough, this push is forced and it feels like it. She just doesn’t do anything worthy of a push, Liv, Zelina and Carmela are being pushed but it’s natural, not manufactured heat. Trying to build up Naomi like this isn’t good enough for me but it is smart because it’s getting the right kind of heat, the problem is that it’s not sustainable.

Ford tough

Montez gets his shot at the big time, the main event match was decent. Ford is still not there yet, he needs a lot more work to get a singles push. Montez goes to sleep and the Bloodline goes to work but not without facing the demon. Balor appears and takes out the Bloodline by himself. I still don’t belive he’s winning at the PPV.

Final take

Another great crowd that really played along with the show, very exciting when that happens. Extreme Rules is all set so lets see what happens and get the draft underway soon., very exciting times in WWE right now.
